Two defendants facing separate charges over an alleged assault and intent to supply cannabis have been granted bail by the Anguilla Magistrate’s Court.
Carey Hodge, 52, of White Hill appeared before the magistrate on 12 November charged with two counts of assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
The alleged offences arose from an incident on 10 November.

He was granted EC$15,000 bail with one surety and must comply with all conditions imposed by the court.
Nakunwa Davis, 24, of Stoney Ground appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on 17 November charged with possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
He was arrested on 14 November with a quantity of cannabis weighing 54 grammes.
In Anguilla, adult residents can cultivate up to four cannabis plants and carry up to 10 grammes without penalty. The use of cannabis is limited to residential or private areas.
Davis was also granted $15,000 bail with one surety and must comply with all conditions imposed by the court.
