We’ve received several suggestions from Anguilla Focus readers for the Best in Anguilla awards and are now inviting the community to help us refine the list.
The new annual awards will celebrate the people, places, businesses and organisations that make Anguilla special, recognising excellence and the contributions that help the island thrive.
Following our first call for ideas, we’ve drawn up a proposed list of awards and we are seeking further feedback before finalising the programme.
The 22 draft categories are a starting point, and we encourage you to suggest additions, recommend changes or identify areas that deserve greater recognition.

Help us get the categories right
Are we missing something important? Would you rename, combine or replace any of these categories? Is there a category of individual, place, business or organisation that deserves recognition?
The aim is to develop a balanced and inclusive programme that reflects the island’s achievements, character and community spirit.
To suggest a category or share your feedback, please contact Anguilla Focus editor Rebecca Bird at anguillafocus@gmail.com or via WhatsApp on +44 7453 809576, or comment below.
Businesses and organisations interested in sponsoring the Best in Anguilla awards are also invited to get in touch.
The final categories and selection process will be announced once confirmed. Nominations will be invited within the coming weeks.
