Thirty-two cyclists from Anguilla, St Maarten and St Martin competed in the Anguilla Cycling Association (ACA)’s final race of the 2026 season.
The event, held from 11am on 18 October, attracted 18 senior riders and 14 youth competitors, ranging in age from nine to their 50s.
“The stakes were high, the energy was electric and our local cycling superstars went wheel-to-wheel in an epic showdown against a fiercely competitive visiting team,” an ACA press release said.

The race began outside Tropical Distributors in Long Path, taking riders through East End and Island Harbour to Welches, Deep Waters and Stoney Ground before returning to Long Path.
After the main loop, cyclists tackled a more technical section through Mango Garden and Stoney Ground before returning to the finish line, with the number of laps varying by category.
“Fit for a king, the course offered cyclists a relatively flat yet challenging route through Anguilla’s breathtaking scenic landscapes,” the ACA said.
The association described the atmosphere as “nothing short of magic”, with spectators lining the route to cheer on riders “creating a wave of radiant energy” throughout the race.
A well as prizes for the race, the event also saw the presentation of championship prizes to Anguilla’s top-performing riders across the 2026 racing calendar.
“The Anguilla Cycling Association extends its most sincere and enthusiastic congratulations to all the 2026 winners,” it said.
The association thanked sponsors Tropical Distributors, Millennium Sounds, 5-Star Media and 5C’s Cycling Academy for supporting the event.
It also acknowledged the Royal Anguilla Police Force, traffic wardens and volunteers Daren Carty and the AI-Live team for helping ensure the race ran safely and smoothly.
The ACA also recognised visiting clubs Wheels on Fire and Brutal Pedals from St Maarten and St Martin, along with independent cyclists who took part.
