18N63W Inc awards university scholarships to two Anguillian students

Two Anguillian students have each received US$5,000 to support their university studies through 18N63W Inc’s second annual scholarship programme.

Elvin Hodge and Ivory Crump were selected following a competitive application process assessing academic achievement, leadership potential, community involvement, character and future aspirations.

The scholarships were supported by corporate sponsor Nagico Insurances, allowing the non-profit organisation to support an additional student this year.

Hodge, who is studying electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Derby in the United Kingdom, said: “I am excited and grateful to be selected as a scholarship winner.”

Meanwhile, Crump, who is pursuing computer science at the University of Leicester in the UK, said: “This scholarship means so much more to me than financial support.”

In addition to financial assistance, 18N63W Inc is committed to preparing students for long-term success through mentorship, university coaching, career readiness and professional development initiatives.

The organisation believes that combining financial support with guidance and encouragement gives students the best opportunity to thrive, the press release said.

18N63W Inc thanked its corporate sponsor, donors, volunteers, board members and supporters for their contributions.
