A 62-year-old woman has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal collision in South Hill last week.
Livingston Hughes, 72, from South Hill sustained fatal injuries when he was hit by a green Mitsubishi Jeep just after 7.20pm on 27 November while walking in the area.
A day after the incident, on 28 November, police formally charged the driver of the vehicle, Vernice Richardson, also of South Hill.

She appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on 1 December and was granted EC$75,000 bail with one surety and conditions.
Richardson is required to surrender all her travel documents to the court, a press release from the Royal Anguilla Police Force said.
The incident marked the second road death in Anguilla this year.
The first road fatality took place on 16 January when 60-year-old Royston Wilson of West End was killed in a collision near Anguilla Community College.
He was driving a Nissan March which collided with a Toyota Mark X driven by 20-year-old Theomar A Rowe of South Hill, who was subsequently charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
