A 34-year-old man from North Valley has been remanded in custody after being charged with having sex with a child between the ages of 14 and 16.
The alleged offence occurred on 19 September and the accused, who has not been named for legal reasons, was formally charged on 23 September.
On 24 September he was remanded in custody at His Majesty’s Prison in The Valley, according to a press release from the Royal Anguilla Police Force.

Police reminded that it is an offence to publish any information likely to lead to the identification of a person against whom a sexual offence is alleged, unless otherwise permitted by law.
