Man, 22, from South Hill remanded in custody pending burglary proceedings

A 22-year-old man from South Hill has been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison pending further court appearances on a burglary charge.

Luis Lantigua Ozuna appeared before Anguilla’s Magistrate’s Court on 22 January in relation to an incident in Little Harbour on 20 January.

He will remain in custody until his next court hearing.

Also appearing before the magistrate on 23 January was 31-year-old Ricardo Romney of Blowing Point, who faced two drug-related charges.

He is charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug and one count of possession with intent to supply.

Romney was granted bail of EC$50,000 with one surety.
