Entrepreneur Tyrique Alexander named winner at Pitch Night Anguilla 2026

Tyrique Alexander has taken first place in Pitch Night Anguilla 2026, a business pitch competition organised by the Anguilla Chamber of Commerce.

The event, which gives local entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their business ideas and ventures to an audience. took place on 1 October at the Raymond E Guishard Technical Centre.

Alexander presented Photography by Tyrique and won a US$1,000 prize and a mentorship opportunity.

Jalila Gumbs placed second with Pretty In Paradise , Jaevharri Hodge placed third with Anguilla Resource Recovery Manufacturing Company, and Dyinze Tukura finished in fourth place with Tukura.

In a Facebook post, the chamber said Pitch Night Anguilla was designed to help entrepreneurs showcase their businesses and develop their confidence.

“It was about having the courage to stand before an audience, share an idea, tell your story and believe that your vision has a place in Anguilla’s future,” the post said.

The chamber congratulated all four participants following the event and encouraged them to continue developing their businesses.

“To every participant – keep building, keep learning, keep pitching and keep believing. This is only the beginning,” it said.

Pitch Night Anguilla forms part of the chamber’s efforts to support entrepreneurship, encourage innovation and strengthen the island’s business community.
