The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) has set out its five-year priorities to address the most pressing public safety challenges on the island.
The Policing Plan 2025-2030, launched under the theme, ‘Together for a Safer Anguilla’, aims to enhance trust, visibility and professionalism across the organisation.
Its five areas of focus include gun crime, road safety, community-led policing, safeguarding and police professionalism.
The plan also commits the RAPF to publishing annual progress reports, ensuring transparency and accountability to the public.

In a press release on 12 September, Commissioner of Police Robert Clark said: “This plan is the product of listening to the people of Anguilla and assessing the challenges we face.
“It sets clear priorities and measures of success. Together with our partners and the community, the RAPF is committed to building a safer Anguilla for all.”
Developed through community consultation, stakeholder engagement and analysis of crime trends, it was released in partnership with Premier Cora Richardson Hodge and Governor Julia Crouch.
In the foreword, the premier described the plan as “comprehensive and forward thinking” and said it reflects a shared vision of a safer and more secure Anguilla.
“The plan acknowledges the complex challenges we face and outlines meaningful, achievable goals to address them through a modern, community-based policing approach,” she wrote.
The governor added that the strategic plan marks an important step forward in the collective effort to protect Anguilla’s people and uphold justice, integrity and service.
“The safety and well-being of every resident and visitor are central to our island’s prosperity and cohesion,” she wrote.
The plan sets out reasons for each priority, a list of goals as well as success criteria. Read the plan in full here.
