Armed robbers struck three locations in Anguilla within the space of an hour this weekend, making away with two cars, a phone, jewellery and a wallet.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force is investigating the series of daylight robberies which took place on the afternoon of Sunday, 6 July.

They stole a silver Honda Fit, registration TP 082, at gunpoint, the police said in a press release on 7 July.
About 45 minutes later, a second report was received from Brimigin. In this incident, a man was robbed of his red Suzuki Swift, registration P 6265, also at gunpoint.
The perpetrators were reported to be travelling in what is believed to be the first stolen vehicle, police said.
Just before 6pm, a third report was received from the Shoal Bay area. Two armed men, who had been driving the stolen vehicles, robbed a couple of their cellphone, gold necklace and wallet.
Acting Commissioner of Police Haslyn Patterson said the police force strongly condemns these acts of violence and intimidation.
“No one should have to fear such attacks. We are fully committed to investigating these incidents and bringing the perpetrators to justice,” he added.
“I am appealing to anyone who may have information, including friends or family members of those involved, to do the right thing and contact the police immediately.”
The public is urged to be on the lookout for the stolen vehicles – but should not approach the cars or their occupants.
The latest armed robberies come amid a surge in violent crime in Anguilla, with three men killed on the island in just one week between 24 June and 1 July.
