A St Martin-registered vessel containing about 356 pounds of fish was intercepted in Anguilla waters after its captain failed to complete required entry procedures.
The 26-foot fishing boat was seen travelling south from near Dog Island on Thursday, 24 September, according to a Royal Anguilla Police Force press release.
Officers from the Marine Unit, HM Customs and the Immigration Department intercepted the vessel in the vicinity of Anguillita at about 3.45pm.

A search revealed a haul of fish, but no firearms or controlled drugs, the press release said.
Officers escorted the boat to Sandy Ground pier where officials from the Fisheries Unit confiscated the fish and subsequently placed it in storage.
HM Customs issued the captain with a formal warning for failing to complete the required entry procedures. Fisheries officials elected not to pursue charges in relation to the fish.
Police reminded anyone operating a vessel in Anguilla’s waters that they must comply with the relevant immigration, customs and fisheries regulations.
