Visitor numbers to Anguilla rose 24.5% in January and 18.5% in February compared with the same months last year, continuing a trend of record-breaking arrivals.
The Anguilla Statistics Department recorded 29,325 arrivals in January, up from 23,548 in 2025, while February saw 27,365 arrivals, compared with 23,086 the previous year.
The statistics follow data showing that visitor arrivals through the island’s air and sea ports reached an all-time high of 229,734 in 2025.

In January and February 23,305 and 21,280 arrived by sea, respectively, while 6,020 and 6,085 came by air. Overall arrivals – including returning residents – totalled 36,970 and 33,596.
Stay-over vs day trippers
An increase in both stay-over visitors and day trippers for each month accounted for the overall rise.
Tourists who stayed over for at least one night in Anguilla in January and February totalled 15,006 and 14,992 – increases of 17.1% and 26.1% from 2025.
Stay-over visitors represented the largest share of visitor arrivals in both January and February at 51.2% and 54.8%.

The overall length of stay from 2025 to 2026 decreased from an average of 6.6 to 6.2 days in January and 6.6 to six days in February.
The highest amount of visitors in both January and February – 70.6% and 71.7% – came from the United States.
Meanwhile, day trip visitors to Anguilla totalled 14,319 and 14,992 in January and February – an increase of 33.4% and 26.1% over 2025.
