Beginning just after sunset, it was led by Scottish performer Rus Anderson, a tribute artist widely recognised for his meticulous and flamboyant portrayals of Elton John.

Anderson has been hand-picked by Elton John and his team for various projects, including acting as Elton’s official stunt and body double on media associated with the Farewell Yellow Brick Road world tour.
His two-hour production seamlessly blended virtuosic piano playing, powerful vocals and the theatrical flair that defined Elton John’s legendary performances.
Drawing on decades of Elton’s career, he incorporated iconic costumes – from a colourful ’70s suit to a glitzy tuxedo – and even donned an authentic Elton John jumpsuit paired with his signature glasses.
The show featured a repertoire that spanned hits including Rocket Man, Pinball Wizard and Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting, keeping the audience singing and dancing throughout the evening.
With each song, Anderson captured both the sound and spirit of Elton John, delivering a performance that was equal parts nostalgia and high‑energy entertainment.
