Three men from Rey Hill have been jointly charged with a series of serious offences – including attempted murder – following a targeted police operation.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force seized a pistol, a submachine gun, ammunition and cannabis during raids on a number of properties across the island on 14 August.
They made several arrests and on 17 August went on to charge Aliquoy Gumbs, 19, Dwight Liburd, 51, and Patrick Liburd, 49, according to a police press release.

All three men face charges of attempted murder, use of a firearm to commit an offence, and wounding.
Gumbs has also been charged with illegal entry, while he and Liburd face two counts each of firearm and ammunition possession.
They all appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on 19 August and were remanded to His Majesty’s Prison in The Valley.
