Two cars which were stolen from their owners in Anguilla this July have yet to be located, according to the acting police chief.
Speaking during a government press conference on Monday, 15 July, Haslyn Patterson said neither the missing Toyota Corolla nor the Nissan Liberty have been found.
A Facebook post asking for the public’s assistance in locating the Toyota Corolla was published on the Royal Anguilla Police Force page on 14 July.
It describes the vehicle as a 2005, bright blue model with the registration plate: P2909.
The car was last seen in Little Dix at 10pm on 13 July and was discovered missing at 5am on 14 July.
“If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of this vehicle or any suspicious activity, please contact the Royal Anguilla Police Force immediately,” the Facebook post says.
A post on the police Facebook page published on 3 July, describes the other missing car as a silver Nissan Liberty with the registration number: PF291.
However, it says the plates may have since been switched.
“The vehicle is believed to have been involved in several recent incidents on the island,” the post said.
“If you see this vehicle or have any information regarding its whereabouts, do not approach it.”
