Two officers sustained minor injuries when a police vehicle crashed in South Hill on Thursday, 28 November.

The Royal Anguilla Police Force confirmed what it called “an accident” in a statement on Facebook the same day.

“Both officers sustained minor injuries and are currently on their way to recovery,” the post read.

“We kindly urge the public to refrain from spreading misinformation or speculating about the incident, as investigations are still ongoing.”

The statement added that the force remains committed to providing accurate updates once further details are available.

A member of the public asked for further information, and in response a spokesperson wrote that the force understands the public is interested in being informed.

“However, it is prudent to confirm all facts and the medical status of those involved before releasing detailed information,” it continued.

“This ensures accuracy and avoids the dissemination of incomplete or incorrect details, which could lead to unnecessary speculation or harm.
