Members of the public have until Friday, 28 August, to cast their votes for Anguilla and several of its leading resorts in the World Travel Awards 2026.
The island has been nominated across eight regional destination categories in the 33rd annual global programme which recognises excellence across the travel and tourism industry.
They are:
- Caribbean’s Leading Beach Destination 2026
- Caribbean’s Leading Culinary Destination 2026
- Caribbean’s Leading Destination 2026
- Caribbean’s Leading Dive Destination 2026
- Caribbean’s Leading Luxury Island Destination 2026
- Caribbean’s Leading Nature Destination 2026
- Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board 2026
- Caribbean’s Most Romantic Destination 2026

Meanwhile, three properties have received the following regional nominations:
- Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club – Caribbean’s Leading Resort 2026
- Zemi Beach House, LXR Hotels and Resorts – Caribbean’s Leading Beach Resort 2026
- Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla – Caribbean’s Leading Hotel Residences 2026 and Caribbean’s Leading Wedding Resort 2026
In a press release on 24 August, Anguilla’s director of tourism Jameel Rochester said the nominations recognise the island’s tourism industry and the experiences it offers visitors.
“We are deeply honoured by these nominations which reflect the collective excellence of Anguilla’s tourism partners, the warmth of our people and the authentic experiences that continue to set our destination apart,” he said.
“We invite everyone who has experienced Anguilla to cast their vote and help celebrate what makes Anguilla special.”
Winners will be announced at the World Travel Awards Caribbean and The Americas Gala Ceremony on 11 October at Princess Grand Jamaica in Green Island, Jamaica.
Voting is remains open here until 28 August. Both public and verified travel-industry votes are accepted. Industry votes count double. Voters must register for an account in order to cast their vote.
