A man is receiving medical attention after he was shot in the grounds of the new Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre in The Valley.
The “shooting incident” took place at about 9.45am on 21 June, according to a post on the Royal Anguilla Police Force’s Facebook page.
“One male has sustained gunshot injuries and is presently receiving medical attention. The assailants in this matter are still at large,” police said.
It went on to say that officers are at the scene and are pursuing all active lines of inquiry.
“We are appealing to anyone who may know or have seen something relating to this incident to have a conversation with us,” the post added.
