A man was robbed at gunpoint in a restaurant in the East End district of Anguilla on Sunday, 15 December.
A press release from the Royal Anguilla Police Force on 17 December, said officers are investigating the incident.
The victim, who was a patron at the establishment, was approached by a masked gunman who demanded that he hand over his personal items.
The assailant was slim-built and dressed in all black. No other information has been provided.
Anguilla Focus has reached out to the police force for further details of the incident and is awaiting a response.
In the press release, the police force said public safety is its priority and offered some tips.
It urged residents to be aware of their surroundings, avoid displaying valuable items in public, and to travel in groups whenever possible, especially at night.
