A man escaped injury after a number of shots were fired in his direction on North Hill Road on Wednesday morning (2 September), according to police.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force said in a press release later the same day that the incident occurred at about 7.15am near Anguilla Techni Sales Ltd.
Initial investigations indicate that the man was walking alone in the area when the shots were fired, police added. No injuries were reported.

Officers responded to the area and police said enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the shooting are ongoing.
The incident comes less than two weeks after a driver escaped injury when multiple bullets struck a vehicle during a shooting in Rock Farm on 21 August.
According to a press release from the Royal Anguilla Police Force, officers received a report just before 1am that a vehicle had been targeted.
The driver had just left a business establishment in George Hill and was travelling in the Rock Farm area when the attack happened.
