A 27-year-old Anguillian is among 10 Caribbean singles looking for love on a new reality dating series filmed in Antigua and Barbuda.
Love Link Caribbean, created by Antigua-based Love Link TV, brings contestants from seven destinations together for a 10-episode season centred on romance, relationships and culture.

The series was unveiled to regional media on Wednesday, 2 September, during an invitation-only virtual first look hosted by Love Link TV and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.
Anguilla Focus joined journalists, editors, broadcasters, media professionals and content creators from across the Caribbean and diaspora markets.
Attendees were given a preview of footage from the upcoming season and an opportunity to speak with the cast and production team.
Anguilla Focus asked Harrigan what he hoped viewers across the region would learn about both himself and Anguilla through this experience
“Well, for one, I would say I just wanted to represent how Anguillian men carry themselves,” he said.
“You know, how upstanding we are in the community, and hopefully get that message across to people across the Caribbean.”

He described Anguilla as a “hidden gem” and said the series will help to broaden people’s perspectives on what the island has to offer, adding that he would be “showing myself off at the same time”.
Harrigan said participating in the show was a “great experience” and that he accomplished what he came to do.
“You guys are gonna have to see what’s going on behind the scenes to get the full story and get the message that we are trying to get across,” he said.
According to the producers, the series is designed to put Caribbean personalities, perspectives and experiences at the centre of a reality dating format created in the region.
A large percentage of the production crew is Caribbean, with local dialects, patois, humour, cuisine, customs and cultural references retained as part of the show’s storytelling.
“Love Link Caribbean is about more than bringing people together in search of love,” said Jamila Watkins, founder and executive producer of Love Link TV.

“It is about allowing Caribbean audiences to see our personalities, cultures and experiences reflected on screen in a way that feels authentically ours.”
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority is serving as an executive producer of the series, with the destination featuring throughout the contestants’ experiences.
Shermain Jeremy, director of tourism for Caribbean and Latin America, said the show provides a way to showcase the country through “romance, shared experiences and Caribbean voices”.
“It demonstrates how destination marketing can support Caribbean-created entertainment while allowing the destination to be experienced as part of the story, rather than simply serving as a backdrop.”
The series is expected to premiere on Love Link TV’s YouTube channel later in the coming months. The official trailer, premiere date and viewing details are due to be announced at a later date.
