Concacaf Nations League: Anguilla secures 2-0 win over Turks and Caicos

Anguilla secured a solid 2-0 victory over the Turks and Caicos Islands in the team’s opening match of the Concacaf Nations League tournament.

The group stage game, held on Wednesday, 4 September, marked a strong start for Anguilla in the regional competition.

Goals from Germain Hughes in the 57th minute and Lamar Carpenter in the 74th minute ensured a commanding win.

The result, which gave the team its first three points, boosts Anguilla’s prospects in the tournament, as it looks to build on this successful start.
