Rogers is a graduate of The University of Akron, Ohio, United States, where she recently completed a bachelor of science degree in electrical and electronic engineering technology.

She previously served with the Department of Education from 2016 to 2019 as senior clerical officer – primary, initially assigned to the Assessment Unit where she verified examination data.

Later she provided broader administrative and purchasing support to primary schools across the public education system.

Eager to contribute in her new role, Rogers expressed her commitment to strengthening financial and data management processes at the school.

“I believe I have the capacity to assist in improving systems and making things better for the future,” she said in the press release.

As bursar, she will work closely with principal Dr Trevor Hodge and the senior management team to ensure the school’s financial operations are managed efficiently and effectively.

Welcoming the appointment, Hodge noted that he looked forward to Rogers’ contributions in overseeing the school’s diverse financial responsibilities.

He said this will include the collection of fees, preparation of purchase orders, budget monitoring, and financial reporting.
