Super Stars FC dominated the women’s football season this year, capturing the Women’s Super Four title to secure their place at the top of the Anguilla Football Association (AFA)’s Women’s League.
The AFA publicly congratulated the team in a press release on 22 June, in which it said they have proven themselves to be a force in women’s football in Anguilla.
“Super Stars FC’s remarkable performance throughout the season has showcased not only their technical skill and athleticism, but also their unmatched determination, discipline and team spirit,” the AFA said.
“From kickoff to the final whistle, the team has demonstrated what it means to represent club and country with pride and purpose.”
Super Four
The Women’s Super Four final took place on 21 June with Super Stars FC winning 2-1 against East Enders FC.
Super Stars FC took an early lead, but East Enders FC fought back with determination, levelling the score before halftime.
A decisive second-half goal sealed the win for the champions, who lifted the trophy to loud cheers from their supporters.

The AFA recognised the hard work of the players, coaching staff and support personnel who helped shape the team into a “model of consistency and competitive excellence”.
