The Royal Anguilla Police Force has launched an investigation after a car was damaged in a shooting near Cove Bay in Anguilla.
The incident took place at about 6.20pm on Sunday, 22 December, close to a hotel and residential neighbourhood, a police spokesperson said in a Facebook statement.
Officers responding to the scene recovered several spent shell casings.
One car was reported damaged during the incident, but the occupants escaped without injuries.
“We are appealing to anyone with information about this incident to come forward. Even the smallest detail could assist our investigation,” the statement said.
