Anguilla to host international Music Tourism Convention in 2025

Anguilla will be the host destination for Music City Events’ next Music Tourism Convention in November 2025.

The event, which is expected to bring together dozens of speakers and hundreds of delegates from around the world, will take place at the Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club.

It will provide attendees with the opportunity to listen to talks, engage in discussions, and enjoy networking opportunities, while immersing in Anguilla’s vibrant cultural scene.

In a short video, Dee-Ann Kentish-Rogers, Minister of Education and Social Development, described it as an extraordinary event that promises to be the highlight of the global music tourism calendar..

“The Music Tourism Convention is an incredible opportunity for Anguilla to showcase its unique blend of music, culture and hospitality to an international audience,” she said.

“We are excited to welcome industry leaders, musicians and enthusiasts to our shores and to share with them the magic of Anguilla.

“Together, we will celebrate the power of music to bring people together, inspire creativity and promote cultural exchange.”

Kentish-Rogers said the government is honoured to welcome the event to Anguilla, which she said is a paradise for music lovers and tourists alike.

She said the island is known not only for its stunning beaches and crystalline clear waters, but also for its rich musical heritage and vibrant cultural scene.

“Our island boasts a diverse musical landscape that reflects the heart and soul of all people, from the rhythmic beats of our traditional calypso and reggae to the soulful melodies of jazz and R&B.

Sounds of Anguilla

The social development minister said Anguilla’s music scene is as “dynamic and inviting” as its scenic vistas.

“Our local festivals like the Anguilla Summer Festival showcase our deep rooted musical traditions and attract visitors from around the world who come to experience the joy and spirit of our community.

“Our local artists are celebrated for their creativity and passion, often performing live in cozy beachside venues, creating an atmosphere that is both electrifying and intimate.

“The sounds of Anguilla are as diverse as our landscapes – from lively beach bars to sophisticated lounges, ensuring an unforgettable musical journey for every visitor.

“Beyond music, Anguilla is a haven for travellers seeking both relaxation and adventure.

“Our pristine beaches such as Shoal Bay and Meads Bay offer unmatched natural beauty and tranquility.

“The island is also known for its culinary delights, with an array for world class restaurants offering exquisite local and international cuisine.

“Whether you’re exploring our historic sites, engaging in walk sports or simply soaking up the sun, Anguilla provides a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience.”

She described the host venue, the Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club, as a premier venue that epitomises luxury and elegance, nestled on the stunning Rendezvous Bay.
