Cape Air to resume daily flights between St Thomas and Anguilla

Starting 1 November, Cape Air is resuming daily flights between Cyril E King International Airport in St Thomas and Clayton J Lloyd International Airport in Anguilla.

The flight schedule is optimally timed for connections at St Thomas, a press release from Cape Air said on 2 October.

Linda Markham, CEO and president of Cape Air, said the company is excited to offer passengers a direct gateway to Anguilla.

“This new year-round service reflects our commitment to providing exceptional travel options and connects our passengers to one of the most stunning destinations in the Caribbean,” she said.

“Whether it’s for a relaxing beach getaway or a business retreat, Anguilla has something for everyone.

“In addition, we are ever mindful of our important role in connecting the peoples of Anguilla and St Thomas with their home islands.”

In the press release, Tourism Minister Haydn Hughes added that he is happy that Cape Air has returned to Anguilla.

“The service that Cape Air provides is unparalleled and we have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship,” he said.

“Undoubtedly, both the diaspora and visitors to our respective destinations will be pleased, as I am that this service has returned and expanded.”

Passengers can book their flights on capeair.com or by calling 1-800-CAPE-AIR.

Cape Air, which has been flying throughout the Caribbean since 1998, operates the Cessna 402 aircraft, a nine-passenger, low-wing, twin-engine aircraft suitable for inter-island flights.

With its Caribbean hubs in San Juan and St. Thomas, the company operates more than 80 daily flights to St Thomas, St Croix, Tortola, Vieques, Anguilla, Nevis, Mayaguez, Culebra, and Virgin Gorda.
