The government has signed a memorandum of understanding with Green Development for a US$14.6 million oceanfront villa resort on Rendezvous Bay.
Salina Estate will include four luxury seven-bedroom villas on a plot located between the Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club to the west and Bankie Banx’s Dune Preserve to the east.
The development will incorporate solar technology, advanced water management systems and environmentally sustainable building practices.

Mark DePasquale, CEO, chair and founder of Green Development, formalised the partnership on behalf of the development team on 31 July during an official ceremony.
He told attendees at the government administration building in The Valley that he has been coming to Anguilla for 18 years and is very excited to begin the project and be part of the local community.
“We’ve built a lot of projects across the United States and out of everything I’ve built for the last 15 years I would say I’m more excited to work at Salina Estate,” he said.
DePasquale explained that the resort’s name, Salina Estate, was chosen after extensive research and was inspired by Anguilla’s long history of salt ponds.
The salt ponds, once central to the island’s salt-exporting industry across the Caribbean, are now valued as important wildlife habitats and distinctive natural features, he said.
Economic development minister Kyle Hodge signed the MoU on behalf of the government and said he is looking forward to what this development will bring to Anguilla.
“We know that it’s going to stimulate job growth and it’s definitely going to contribute to the overall tax base in Anguilla when it’s open,” he said.
Hodge explained that DePasquale has agreed to support the transformation of the Corito Landfill “to a much more sustainable zone” as part of his social impact commitment.
The Salina Estate website describes the proposed development as “an exclusive coastal retreat inspired by Anguilla’s natural landscape, salt heritage and refined island living”.
It says it will feature “expansive pool terraces, open-air lounges, sunset views and private outdoor spaces create a setting made for effortless relaxation, entertaining and unforgettable moments”.
The interior design will include “soft natural tones, warm wood finishes, generous light and calming garden views”.
The website describes the overall design as featuring “clean architectural lines, warm natural textures, open terraces and seamless indoor-outdoor living”.
In November 2025, the government confirmed plans were moving ahead for the development, comprising of three private five-bedroom luxury villas, then known as ‘Rendezvous Dune Club’.
Anguilla Focus has reached out to the planning minister for further information and is awaiting a response.
