Anguilla’s national men’s team came from behind to secure a 3-1 victory over the Bahamas in the 2025/26 Concacaf Series.
Playing at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in the Cayman Islands on 26 March, Anguilla responded strongly after falling behind early in the Group D friendly.
The Bahamas opened the scoring in the 15th minute with Robert Holcombe putting Anguilla under early pressure.

However, the team found their rhythm as the half progressed and they drew level just before the break when Jan-Willem Tesselaar finished in the 43rd minute.
Tesselaar struck again shortly after the restart, converting from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute to give Anguilla the lead and complete his brace.
Anguilla maintained control for most of the second half, and Jonathan Guishard sealed the game with a third goal in the 83rd minute.
The result was one of three wins on the day, with St Martin and Bonaire also claiming victories, while the remaining fixtures ended in draws.
The Concacaf Series is being played across the FIFA International Match Window from 26 to 30 March, with 16 member associations competing in 16 matches across three venues.
Anguilla are competing in Group D alongside the Cayman Islands, Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands with all fixtures being staged in Cayman.
The team’s next match is on 29 March at 5.30pm local time against the British Virgin Islands.
