A masked robber brandishing a gun stole a gold chain from a maintenance worker at a private property in North Hill earlier today (16 September).
The Royal Anguilla Police Force is investigating the incident which it said in a press release took place just before 9am this morning.
“Reports indicate that an unknown individual, dressed in all black and wearing a mask and hoodie, approached a worker at a private property and brandished a firearm,” police said.
“The suspect robbed the individual of a gold chain before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported during the incident.”

The suspect is described as having a light complexion. At this time, no direction of travel has been confirmed.
Police officers are actively pursuing leads and the matter remains under investigation, the press release said.
