A 38-year-old man was shot multiple times while sitting inside a parked car in Blowing Point just after midday today (16 September).
Witnesses told Anguilla Focus they heard about five gun shots in the vicinity of Maranatha Methodist Church on Blowing Point Road.
They said the victim appeared to have been inside a dark purple Honda CR-V SUV when the shooting took place – but did not see the suspect.

A police press release at 1pm said the man had sustained several gunshot wounds and was taken from the scene for medical treatment.
It added that officers were “actively on the scene” and the road had been cordoned off between the Spring Path Road junction and the Shake Shack.
Members of the public are advised to seek alternative routes until further notice.
Police said further updates will be provided as investigations progress regarding a suspect and other developments.
