A 21-year-old man from South Hill has been charged with several offences relating to an arrest on 1 September.
Luis Angel Lantigua Ozuna is accused of taking a conveyance, assault, criminal damage and driving when not the holder of a driver’s licence, a police press release said on 8 September.
The charges were formally laid on 2 September, and he appeared before the Magistrate’s Court in The Valley on 5 September.

The magistrate ordered that the defendant be remanded to His Majesty’s Prison, as he was unable to meet the bail conditions of EC$10,000 with one surety.
A 47-year-old woman from Tackling Estate was also remanded to prison following charges of criminal trespass, a police press release said on 4 September.
She was arrested on 1 September and formally charged on 2 September, before appearing before the Magistrate’s Court on 3 September.
