Tackling Estate wins this year’s Most Patriotic Village award

Tackling Estate has been named Most Patriotic Village – earning top honours in the Anguilla Enhancement Project’s annual Anguilla Day awards.

The awards recognise villages and community groups that contribute to national pride through cultural displays and creative decorations.

This year’s winners were announced during the official ceremony for Anguilla Day on 30 May at Ronald Webster Park in The Valley.

In a Facebook post, the Tackling Estate community group said: “Anguilla Day isn’t just a moment in history – it’s a living energy in our communities. And this year, Tackling Estate felt it deeply.

“In our very first year participating in the Anguilla Enhancement Project’s village competitions, Tackling Estate poured our hearts, creativity and culture into every detail.
