A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged with wounding in relation to an incident that took place in South Hill on 28 January.

Bail was granted with conditions, including restrictions on contact and proximity to persons connected to the matter.

Gumbs will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.

In October 2024, a police spokesperson told Anguilla Focus that an operational decision had been made to withhold the dates of upcoming court appearances.

The decision reduces risks to the judicial process and the safety of those involved, preventing potential attacks or disruptions during court proceedings, police said.
