A 24-year-old man has been charged with 17 counts of theft in relation to an alleged EC$3.28 million shortfall at Road Bay Port.
Raheem Carty from Sandy Hill appeared before the Anguilla Magistrate’s Court on 17 November where he was granted EC$400,000 bail with two sureties and conditions.

Commissioner of Police Robert Clark extended his appreciation to the Criminal Investigation Department, the Customs Department, the Treasury Department and other parties involved.
He thanked them for their “diligence and effective collaboration throughout this complex investigation” and commended them for their professionalism and dedication.
The police chief said their coordinated efforts ensured that the matter was thoroughly examined and brought before the court.
