Registration is now open for anyone interested in serving as a virtual concierge for Anguilla this year.
The Ministry of Tourism and the Anguilla Tourist Board announced the opportunity, which returns in support of the Anguilla Summer Festival, in a press release on 22 May.
“This is a valuable opportunity for passionate, tech-savvy individuals to support national tourism efforts and showcase Anguilla’s warmth and hospitality to the world,” it said.
The National Virtual Concierge programme was introduced in 2024 to elevate the visitor experience during Anguilla’s peak festival season.
Participants will provide real-time, personalised assistance to guests through Facebook, Instagram and TikTok and will be rewarded with industry-led training and a monthly stipend.
Benefits include:
- Enhanced accessibility for all visitors before and during the festival
- Centralised and reliable information on events, venues, and activities
- Personalised recommendations for accommodation, car rentals, dining, and experiences
- Promotion of local vendors, artists, and performers
Concierges will not handle bookings or promote specific businesses, but will instead work in tandem with industry partners and agencies to guide visitors to official channels.
Anyone interested in the role can complete the application form here before Wednesday, 28 May.
