A 66-year-old man from North Hill has died after falling from the upper level of a building in East End where construction work was taking place.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force announced the death of Leroy Meade in a press release on 24 November, describing it as a “fatal workplace accident”.
“There was unfortunately some misinformation circulating which was causing distress to several persons, so we felt it was necessary to clarify the identity of the victim,” police said.

Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing, the press release said, adding that further updates will be provided as appropriate
