Miss Tiny Tott Pageant postponed to 2026 for refresh and revamp

The organisers of the Miss Tiny Tott Pageant have announced that the event will be postponed until 2026 in order to reimagine the long-running competition.

In an official notice on Facebook on 10 April, committee chair Patra Brodie explained that the break will allow time for new ideas and improvements for an even more memorable event next year.

The children’s pageant, a beloved fixture on the island’s cultural calendar, is held under the motto, ‘Young positive minds for positive futures’.

Established in 2003, the annual event showcases the talents, confidence and charm of young participants.

In the notice, Brodie said the committee will be taking a break this year to “refresh and elevate the overall pageant experience”.

“During this time, we’re reimagining key segments of the show,” she added.

This will include the introduction of new categories that highlight intelligence, talent and social awareness, while celebrating the inner qualities that make each contestant special.

“The pageant will make its grand return in July 2026, fully revamped and more inspiring than ever,” Brodie said.

Registration for next year’s contest will open on 1 October, 2025.
