Contestants of the 2025 Miss Anguilla pageant have donated six stationery packages to primary schools across Anguilla.
They raised funds by hosting a cake sale earlier this year, a press release from the Department of Education said on 4 September.
Jasmin Ruan, who won the title of Miss Anguilla 2025 during the Summer Festival pageant in August, presented the packages to the schools on 2 September.
The presentation, coordinated by Susan Smith, education officer of primary and pre-primary, was held at the Teachers Resource Centre in The Quarter, the day after the 2025/2026 school year began.

A representative from each of the six recipient primary schools was on hand to accept the stationery packages.
They included Vivienne Fleming, school counsellor at Morris Vanterpool Primary School, Avecia Webster, deputy principal at Adrian T Hazell Primary School, and Keri Richardson, teacher at Allwyn Allison Richardson Primary School.
Also present were Malica Smith-Connor, teacher at Vivien Vanterpool Primary School, Electra Buddle, principal at Orealia Kelly Primary School, and Shauna Connor, principal at Valley Primary School.
At the end of the short ceremony, Connor extended thanks on behalf of all of the schools and said the gifts were timely and would be put to good use.
The Department of Education thanked all the Miss Anguilla contestants for their donation and said “gratitude and appreciation is extended to every partner and stakeholder” that offers help.
