Man treated for gunshot injuries after Friday evening shooting in Island Harbour

A man was treated for gunshot injuries following a shooting in Island Harbour on Friday, 13 March.

At about 8pm, reports were made to the Joint Emergency Services Control Room of the sound of several gunshots in the area.

According to a press release from the Royal Anguilla Police Force, officers responded to the scene and began investigations.

They recovered “several items of interest” from the area.

Police later received information that one male victim had been received gunshot injuries and had been transported for medical attention.

Investigations are continuing.
