Based in Anguilla, Johanna Pasila and her husband, serial tech entrepreneur Antti Pasila, are the founders of Cyans SEZC Ltd, a family-run venture studio creating innovative technology projects.
Their latest creation, Platinum.ai, helps websites remain discoverable and relevant in a rapidly changing digital landscape, where traditional search engines are increasingly being replaced by artificial intelligence.
By bridging the gap between websites and AI discovery systems, Platinum.ai positions Anguilla as a forward-thinking hub for technology innovation and digital entrepreneurship in the Caribbean region.

In an interview with Anguilla Focus, Pasila explains how the idea for Platinum.ai was born, what makes it unique, and why Anguilla was the natural home for such a forward-thinking project.
What led you to create Platinum.ai, and what problem does it aim to solve?
As is often the case with technological innovations, the idea of developing AI Website Profiles (AWP) was born out of our own desire and need for one.
Websites serve little purpose if your target groups can’t find them. For decades businesses have invested enormous resources in search engine optimisation (SEO) to stay visible.
Now online discovery is happening through AI assistants and agents, which work very differently from traditional search engines. We created Platinum.ai to bridge that gap.
With an AWP your site becomes understandable and discoverable to AI systems without any need to redesign it. In short, we make websites AI-ready.
How long has the project been in development, and what have been some of the main challenges along the way?
We started building Platinum.ai about a year ago.
The biggest challenge, and also excitement, in working in AI is that the field itself is evolving in real time. So we have to not only keep up, but also try to anticipate what’s next to come.
Can you tell us a bit about the team behind Platinum.ai and your family venture studio, Cyans?
The core team consists of Antti Pasila, serial tech entrepreneur, and myself, with a professional foundation in law. Both originally from Finland and now living in Anguilla.

Cyans is about combining our respective experience, business and legal, to create innovative and sustainable technology solutions.
Behind the scenes is also a network of talented people around the world that we work with where specific expertise is needed.
Why did you decide to establish Platinum.ai within the Anguilla Special Economic Zone?
Cyans was founded in the Anguilla Special Economic Zone because it provided the possibility to live and work in a tech enterprise friendly environment with beautiful beaches.
And it felt fitting to build Platinum.ai – a tool making websites AI-ready – in the very home of .ai.
How is Platinum.ai being launched, and what can we expect in its first phase?
AI is still something many are struggling to wrap their heads around.
So we need to show why everyone with a website should get an AWP even though they didn’t know they needed one (and what a huge benefit it is to get one before your competition does).
In the first phase we are launching our one-time purchase AWP, tailor-made for the customer’s website and industry.
As the AI systems continue to develop, so will the AWPs and services we offer.
Looking ahead, what are your hopes or plans for Platinum.ai and for Cyans as a whole?
I hope that Platinum.ai can contribute to Anguilla’s reputation of not only being the home of the .ai domain, but also the home to innovative AI companies.
For Cyans, there are more projects on the horizon that aim to push sustainability forward. Not just environmentally, but in how businesses and societies adapt to change.
But for now our full focus is on the international rollout of Platinum.ai.
