Magistrate grants $30k bail to man charged with cocaine possession

A 41-year-old man from George Hill in Anguilla charged with possession of a cocaine has been granted EC$30,000 bail with one surety.

Henry Rodriguez appeared in the Magistrate’s Court for the bail hearing on 5 September, and is scheduled to return on 24 October.

According to a Facebook post from the Royal Anguilla Police Force on Wednesday, 11 September, the charge stems from an incident that took place on 6 September.

On that day, officers executed a search warrant at a premises in East End and found a quantity of cocaine which they seized.

They then arrested Rodriguez and subsequently charged him in relation to the find.
