A 33-year-old man from Island Harbour has been arrested in connection with a stabbing at a business place in The Valley on the morning of Friday, 3 October.
Irad Smith presented himself at the Royal Anguilla Police Force headquarters following the incident in which the victim sustained serious injuries.
He was taken into custody and is being investigated for the offence of attempted murder, a police press release said on 3 October.

A weapon believed to have been used in the incident has been recovered and the victim is stable and receiving medical attention, police added.
In response to a request for further details, a police press officer told Anguilla Focus that the incident occurred at the Island Car Rental building complex near NAPA Auto Parts at about 8.40am.
Just days earlier, on 30 September, police responded to an incident involving Smith and the victim of the stabbing incident in Island Harbour.
Smith was arrested and charged with offences of assault, throwing missiles and disorderly conduct.
On 2 October, he appeared before the Magistrate’s Court, where he pleaded guilty to all charges and was ordered to pay a fine of EC$5,000.
