Children from across Anguilla donned their finest costumes during one of the highlights of this year’s Early Childhood Month celebrations.
The early childhood parade and costume showcase on 14 March brought together young participants from schools and early learning centres with their parents or caregivers.
They paraded through the streets in a vibrant display, showcasing costumes inspired by themes such as fruit and vegetables, professions, under the sea, and more.
Early Childhood Month is in full swing, with activities taking place across the island to spotlight the importance of nurturing young learners.
There has been an opening church service, a launch event, a children’s service at each school, and a celebration of Commonwealth Day, with plenty more events scheduled.
This year’s theme is ‘Growing together: Nurturing curiosity and creativity in every child’.
