The board asked for approval of an additional subvention for the Anguilla Tourist Board, specifically, its financial services marketing arm.

This would allow participation in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Miami Summit 2025 at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, on 22 and 23 October.

The minutes did not mention how the money will be allocated.

The conference marks the 14th annual gathering of STEP Miami, bringing together professionals specialising in trusts, estates and private wealth management from across the Americas and beyond.

According to the event website, participants can expect in-depth panels and sessions covering trends in financial services, particularly in the context of Latin American and Caribbean wealth management.

Anguilla Focus has reached out to Anguilla Tourist Board for a comment and is awaiting a response.
