Donald Price, 30, from South Hill has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for the 2022 murder of 37-year-old West End resident Kimberly Fleming.
He appeared before the Anguilla High Court on 18 December for sentencing after being found guilty on 3 November.
The court ordered that 1,309 days – just over three and a half years – spent on remand be credited toward the sentence and included in the calculation of remission.

Fleming was reported missing to the Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) on 20 February 2022 – her body was discovered in South Hill five days later.
Following an investigation led by the Major Crime Unit, Price, aged 26 at the time, was apprehended and charged with her murder.
He first appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on 28 February 2022 when he was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison in The Valley to await trial.
On 20 October 2025, the case was brought before a 12-member jury in the Anguilla High Court, and on 3 November they returned a guilty verdict.
On 13 January, Commissioner of Police Robert Clark said the sentencing underscored the importance of thorough investigations, strong justice system partnerships and accountability for criminal behaviour.
“The RAPF remains committed to standing with victims and their families, while ensuring that offenders who endanger our communities face the full force of the law,” he added.
This year 11 homicides have been reported in Anguilla – with no charges yet brought in any of the cases.
