Disorderly conduct reported at International Night event

Reports have been made to police of disorderly conduct during the International Night event at Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre on Tuesday, 30 July.

The Royal Anguilla Police Force said officers are actively investigating the matter and expect it to result in prosecution “to the full extent of the law”.

“We wish to reiterate that such behaviour will not be tolerated by the RAPF during the festival season,” police said in a Facebook statement.

“These events are meant to showcase Anguilla’s rich culture and heritage, and we expect all attendees to behave properly and show respect to fellow patrons.

“Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable festival for everyone.”

International Night is an evening party that takes place during the Anguilla Summer Festival.

This year the event featured Jamaican dancehall performer Dexta Daps and Jamaican singer Romain Virgo.
