Bail granted to two men accused of drugs and gun offences

Two men who appeared in court this week on separate drugs and gun charges have each been granted bail.

Linroy Bryan, 42, of Tackling Estate was arrested on 9 January and later charged on 12 January for possession of over 82 grammes of cannabis.

He appeared in Magistrate’s Court on 13 January where he was granted bail in the sum of EC$18,000 with several conditions including keeping the peace and surrendering all travel documents.

Lennon Gumbs, 37, of Little Dix was arrested on 10 January and charged on 11 January for possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.

He also appeared in court on 13 January where he was granted bail in the sum of $30,000 with several conditions including not leaving the jurisdiction and not committing another offence.

The men will return to court at a later date to address the charges.
