Anguilla Football Association’s new artificial grass field is nearing completion, the government said in a Facebook post on Sunday, January 21.
“The recent rain has made it a little too wet to brush the infield rubber into the AstroTurf so the crew is hoping for sunshine over the next couple days as they aim to wrap things up,” the post said.
“All things considered, we are closer to the end of this phase of the Anguilla Football Association’s plans for the playing field.”
The government offered “advanced congratulations” to everyone who had a part to play in the development of Anguilla’s first artificial grass field.
