Anguilla-born creative Rennetta Lewis Christian has launched a new pilot project aimed at fostering authentic dialogue and personal growth.
‘The Conversations of Becoming’ is a live Facebook video series featuring interviews with notable voices across a range of industries as well as the host’s own musings.
The now USA-based client engagement specialist and freelance writer plans to draw on her experience across communication, customer service, education and leadership.

She described the series to Anguilla Focus as “a platform that brings together diverse voices through meaningful dialogue”.
“It acts as a catalyst for sharing inspiration, personal stories and visions that lead to community-driven initiatives and positive change,” she added.
On 18 July, joining Lewis Christian for her debut episode was Sheleene Gumbs from St Croix, known for her bold voice in human rights, empowerment and advocacy work.
Together, they delved deeply into topics such as boundaries, bodies and the importance of comprehensive, honest sex education during the hour-long broadcast.

A two part second broadcast on 26 July, featured Anguilla’s Dr Ellis Webster who spoke about medicine, and Sadeek Carty who discussed live-streaming and the art of content creation.
“The pilot episodes have established a strong foundation, and I’m encouraged by the enthusiastic response, especially the interest from young men aged 17 to 35,” Lewis Christian said.
“While there is always room for growth, the wide range of perspectives contributing to the conversations has been very energising.”
Over the next few weeks, she will continue to host a pilot season of The Conversations of Becoming, designed around themes of self-awareness, growth and purposeful living.
Some episodes will include guest speakers who bring lived experience and wisdom to the discussions, while at other times the host will reflect solo.
This project represents the beginning of what Lewis Christian – who spent her first 15 years in Anguilla where she has a “sense of belonging” – hopes will grow into a sustained, evolving series.
Episodes are planned to air live every Friday at 8.35pm, though the schedule may be adjusted depending on guest availability or unforeseen conflicts.
If live participation is not possible, pre-recorded episodes will be shared at the scheduled time to maintain consistency.
